Full Description: Our client is a well established, engineering company with a niche market in power engineering.

This is a good opportunity to join the company and to manage and expand an existing account.

Job Summary (Description of main purpose of job):

To ensure all Hardware Sales opportunities, both from new enquiries and existing account base are quoted and closed in a professional manner at all times.
To ensure that all subsequent sales leads, orders, amendments, site surveys are carried out in an efficient, professional and competent manner.
To ensure that all Customer enquiries, problems, information and complaints are dealt with in a timely, professional and competent manner with a positive outcome achieved at all times.
To actively pursue all sales leads forwarded from telemarketing, Engineers and other sources within the business. To develop existing customer relationships/accounts in order to grow the hardware sales performance both on new contract sales and remedial activities.
To identify and meet customer requirements and to build and manage own customer base.
To achieve pre determined sales targets and ensure that monthly and yearly KPIs are achieved.


Key Tasks:


To manage all sales and technical enquiries.
To generate and forward all quotations to the relevant customer within agreed timeframes.
To progress and pursue all enquiries from the initial stage through to sale or no sale.
To process all orders obtained and make relevant amendments as and when required. Ensure amendments are communicated accurately to all relevant parties.
To generate 'pre sale' work order templates and relevant documentation.
To generate prospective new sales leads, increase customer base and create sales opportunities.
To generate accurate sales forecasts for weekly sales meetings.
Liaise with vendors for product information, availability, special projects and new products.
To deal with customer enquiries, problems, information and complaints in a professional and competent manner ensuring a positive outcome for all parties is achieved at all times.
To attend customer sites to carry out site surveys and produce reports accordingly.
To deal with fellow sales account managers customers in their absence.
To pursue all sales leads forwarded from telemarketing, engineers and other sources within the business.

Qualifications:
Minimum City and Guilds / Electro Mechanical Principles.

Essential Experience:

Proven track record in sales with evidence of achieving monthly sales targets.
Commercial Awareness.
Extensive experience in the UPS and/or Generator Industry with working/technical knowledge of both.


Working Hours: 37 hours

Salary the basic salary is £30,000 - £35,000 with an OTE of circa £50,000
